Whole Wheat and Honey Pizza Dough

A hands-off pizza crust recipe made in a bread machine. Perfect for those who want homemade dough with minimal effort.

Ingredients

  1. 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry
  2. yeast
  3. 1 cup warm water
  4. 2 cups whole wheat flour
  5. 1/4 cup wheat germ
  6. 1 teaspoon salt
  7. 1 tablespoon honey

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Let stand until
  3. creamy, about 10 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl combine flour, wheat germ and salt. Make a well in
  5. the middle and add honey and yeast mixture. Stir well to combine.
  6. Cover and set in a warm place to rise for a few minutes.
  7. Roll dough on a floured pizza pan and poke a few holes in it with a
  8. fork.
  9. Bake in preheated oven for 5 to 10 minutes, or until desired
  10. crispiness is achieved.
