Glazed Pork Chop

Pan-seared or baked, these pork chops are finished with a sweet and savory glaze—think honey, brown sugar, or maple with a hint of mustard or spice—for a sticky, flavorful finish.

Ingredients

  1. 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  2. 3 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
  3. 4 pork chops
  4. 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and mustard. Mix together well.
  3. Butterfly the pork chops and arrange them in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread the mustard mixture over the chops, then sprinkle with the lemon juice. Place about 1/8 of an inch of water in the bottom of the baking dish.
  4. Bake at 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) for 20 minutes, or to desired doneness.
